Purchase Process

Overview

Steps:

  1. Click Buy for a product
  2. Fill out the initial purchase information
  3. Pay by credit card or PayPal account on the secure PayPal page you are automatically directed to
  4. Note you are automatically returned to a confirmation page on the Winthusiasm site after payment
  5. Download the product by clicking the Download button at the bottom of the page
  6. Receive emails from PayPal and Winthusiasm with details of the purchase (Please add both sites to your safe senders list)
  7. Note the Winthusiasm email includes information which allows you to directly download the product again later if necessary
  8. Create an account on the Winthusiasm site for the email address you used for the purchase, then sign in and navigate to your MyAccount page, then your MyProducts page to see the products purchased and be able to download any updates

Purchase Information Page

After clicking the Buy link you are presented with an initial purchase information page. Enter your purchase information:

  • If you have created an account and are Signed In, your Profile information will have pre-populated appropriate fields
  • Click the check box(s) at the bottom of the page to confirm agreement with the site Terms of Use and any related product License agreements
  • Click Continue

Fields with missing or invalid information will have a red asterick (*) next to them and a text description of the issue in the error summary at the bottom of the page.

Summary Page

Review the Summary page to verify everything is as expected and all entered information is correct.

When you click the Pay Now button at the bottom of the page you  temporarily leave the site to complete payment through the secure PayPal site.

After payment is complete you are returned to the Confirmation page on this site. An automatic electronic verification process then takes place with PayPal and the Download button at the bottom of the page consequently enables.

Note: Because confirmation emails are sent by both PayPal and Winthusiasm during this process it is recommended that paypal.com and winthusiasm.com be added to your email application's safe senders list.

Payment Through PayPal

Winthusiasm uses PayPal to accept payments from customers. PayPal is a well-known, secure processor of payments through the Web. Payment may be made by either:

  • Credit Card or
  • PayPal account

Once the payment process is complete you are returned to the Confirmation page on the Winthusiasm site.

Confirmation Page

This page confirms your payment and summarizes the product and payment information:

  • The date and amount paid are confirmed
  • A Reference No is displayed for the completed transaction
  • The payment is automatically verified with PayPal and the result is displayed
  • The Download button at the bottom of the page enables upon verification

Product Download

The product may be downloaded from the Confirmation page by clicking the Download button located at the bottom of the page.

Information about the product, product version and download size are also displayed.

Confirmation EMails

You receive two confirmation emails from a completed transaction:

  • PayPal sends a confirmation email to your PayPal email account with details of the completed transaction.
  • Winthusiasm sends a confirmation email as soon as the payment is automatically verified with PayPal. The email address used is the one you specified when you entered the Buyer information. That email contains confirmation information, your Reference No, and additional instructions on how to download your product if you did not do so from the Confirmation page itself.
